  2. "CID_JNCW is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all
  3. warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation,
  4. the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.

  6. consequential, which may result from the use of CID_JNCW."

  8. CID_JNCW is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  9. to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your
  10. friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  11. another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  12. provide personal computer users with quality software without
  13. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
  14. continue to develop new products.  If you find this program
  15. useful and find that you are using CID_JNCW and continue to use
  16. CID_JNCW after a reasonable trial period, you must make a
  17. registration payment of US $16.95 to James N. Cox.  The US $16.95
  18. registration fee will license one copy for use on any one
  19. computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just like
  20. a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  21. number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  22. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  23. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  24. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  25. same time.

  27. Commercial users of CID_JNCW must register and pay for their
  28. copies of CID_JNCW within 30 days of first use or their license
  29. is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by
  30. contacting James N. Cox.

  32. Anyone distributing CID_JNCW for any kind of remuneration must
  33. first contact James N. Cox at the address below for authorization.
  34. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  35. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  36. shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  37. CID_JNCW immediately (However James N. Cox must still be advised
  38. so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  39. version of CID_JNCW.).
